Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 31, 2026

This policy explains what information the Association of Young Legal Historians collects when you use aylh.org, how it is used, and what choices you have.

01

Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to aylh.org, operated by the Association of Young Legal Historians (AYLH), a non-profit scholarly association. References to “we”, “us”, or “our” mean AYLH.

Questions or requests regarding this policy should be directed to info@aylh.org or via our contact page.

Data we collect

Information you provide directly

  • Contact form submissions — name, email address, and the message you send. Used only to respond to your enquiry.
  • Newsletter subscriptions — email address and subscription confirmation token. Used solely to send AYLH news and announcements.
  • Feedback survey responses — an optional anonymous survey (star rating, tags, NPS score, role). No personally identifying information is required or inferred.
  • Forum applications / membership enquiries — name, affiliation, research interests. Used for membership and event administration.

  • To meet any applicable legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing unrelated to AYLH activities.
